In Dec 2019/2020 fires devastated the East Gippsland region of Victoria, impacting both local communities and natural landscapes. The impacts of this catastrophic event have been broad and deep, and will be felt for many years to come.
In mid-2022, MacKillop Seasons engaged Wendy Ronalds as a Community Resilience Officer to support community recovery through our Seasons for Growth and Stormbirds change and loss education programs and community sessions.
These videos share aspects of the MacKillop Seasons story journeying with the East Gippsland communities to support their roads to recovery.
Wendy has often shared what an immense privilege is has been walking alongside the East Gippsland communities through this very challenging time of change, loss and grief, working together to restore hope.
